Access to TACC Lonestar

  1. TAMU faculty can apply for a lonestar account by filling out a large application. Additional researchers should be listed on the application so they may also access lonestar, upon approval.
  2. After submitting the application, the faculty applicant and associated researchers should fill out a user's profile and create a TACC username and password online at the TACC User Portal. List Texas A&M University as the Institution and list your TAMU e-mail for contact information.
  3. If you have completed step 2, then after your lonestar application is approved, the TAMU Supercomputing accounts administrator will be able to locate your TACC user name and contact information to grant the approved allocations.
