particular system. It is STRONGLY recommended
that you read these news items. They are typically stored in /etc/motd on
every system. An example of the news items is shown below:

2006-01-18 --- Password sharing is ILLEGAL
You may NOT under ANY circumstances obtain the password of another
user's account. This is illegal according to University regulations
and state laws. Any instance of password sharing will result in
account deactivation.
2007-04-12 --- New Fluent and Gambit versions available
Fluent 6.3.26 and Gambit 2.3.16 are now available on cosmos, agave,
and hydra. Only Fluent 6.3.26 is available on k2. These new versions
are now the default versions. Fluent 6.1.22 and Gambit 2.1.2 will
be removed from all SC systems on May 14th.
