Account Renewal Deadline for Uninterrupted Service: October 1st 2009

Every year the month of September initiates the transition to a new (computer use)
accounting year. All computer time remaining balances of the "old" year are zeroed
out. They are not transferable to the new accounting period. A new year of use
begins with with entirely new time allocations.

To avoid service interruption, all users with active accounts must renew them
by submitting an application from our website https://sc.tamu.edu/forms/
before October 1st. Early submissions are especially important for users who
request "large" allocations (these exceed 1000 hours) because they require much
longer to process. Timely application submission will ensure the continued access
and use of the systems applied for. Applications submitted by users on or after
October 1st will still be processed, but access and use of the systems will be
disabled until their handling is completed.

If you submitted a supercomputing application after August 1, 2009 till present,
please ignore this message because you should have received a message from the
supercomputing facility in regards to the status of your current 2010 application.
