Using MATLAB on the Grace Cluster

Prerequisites: Current HPRC account, basic knowledge of MATLAB
This course introduces different ways to use MATLAB on the Grace cluster and how to leverage its parallel resources. Participants will use MATLAB on the portal and the command line, and how to submit MATLAB jobs to the batch scheduler. Other topics include how to start parallel pools and utilize GPUs on Grace.

This course focuses, among others, on the following topics:
- Using MATLAB command line and GUI
- Submitting MATLAB batch jobs
- Creating/managing cluster profiles
- Parallel programming using MATLAB workers
- Parallel programming using GPUs on Grace
Note: During the class sessions many aspects of the material will be illustrated live via a login to an HPRC cluster. Attendees will complete these parts with their own laptops equipped with MATLAB along with the instructor. You are encouraged to contact the HPRC helpdesk with any questions.
